Second Nature is a durable medical equipment company that provides post-mastectomy breast forms and bras to women who have undergone breast surgery.

For our internet customers, our certified mastectomy fitting consultant can provide confidential, caring service by phone and have your breast forms and bras delivered directly to your door.

For those of you in eastern North Carolina, we also offer a private showroom in New Bern, N.C. where post-mastectomy patients are properly fitted with bras, post surgical undergarments and breast prostheses.

Second Nature is family-owned and operated by Janis Gaskill and her two daughters, Jill Gaskill and Anna Hardison.

Second Nature has served eastern North Carolina since 1997, and is accredited and certified with the American Board of Certification of Orthotics and Prosthetics.

We offer proper fittings by Janis Gaskill, an ABC certified mastectomy fitting consultant.

We are also contracted D.M.E. Providers listed with Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, NC Medicaid and most other private insurances. Second Nature is proud to be listed with the American Cancer Society.
